Night (Day 0) We leave from Delhi for most wonderful and thrilling ride ever. We will drive straight to Rampur via Shimla. The Himalayan expressway is a beautiful highway connecting Punjab to Himachal. We will have breakfast on the way and continue driving to reach Rampur. Rampur will be about 450 kilometers from Delhi and about 140 kilometers from Shimla.
Day 1: We check into hotel in Rampur and relax. Rampur is a small town by the river. Rampur has a small HPTDC restaurent as well. We relax today after a long drive from Delhi.
Day 2: We continue to drive today towards Kalpa (reckong peo) crossing the famous and scenic Kinnaur district. The drive is extremely beautiful and very picturesque. Kalpa is about 120 Kilometers from Rampur. It is about 7-8 kilometers of detour from Reckong Peo. A small hotel village but extremely beautiful and here at Kalpa we also get a view of the mighty Kinner Kailash.
Day 3: Nako village has its own old Monastery. Nako also has a high altitude Nako Lake that we explore. We will lax here and explore Nako village today.
Day 4: We will drive to Tabo. It is a short drive from Nako and we will visit the oldest Monastery in the region that is managed by ASI. It was constructed in 990 AD. From Tabo a short drive of about 50 Kilometers will bring us to Kaza. Kaza is the sub divisional headquarters of Spiti Valley. We will explore Kaza today for the rest of the day.
Day 5: We will have an extra day here at Kaza, we will explore the Ki Monastery, Dhankar Lake and Kibber village. Explore Cafes in the evening and relax.
Day 6: We start from Kaza continue to drive to Chandratal. Chandratal is a high altitude lake and is extremely famous amongst travelers. It is incredibly beautiful at the night. We will spend a night here.
Day 6: We start from Chandrataal for Manali via the famous Kunzum Pass followed by Rohtang Pass. Reach Manali and relax. Explore cafes in Manali.
Day 7: Start early from Manali. Drive from Manali to Delhi. Breakfast & Lunch on the way back to Delhi.
